Each year, Bay Cove provides services to more than 25,000 individuals and families who face the challenges of developmental and intellectual disabilities, mental illness, substance use disorder, homelessness and/or aging, at more than 170 program sites in Metro Boston and southeastern Massachusetts.

Bay Cove’s biggest fundraising evening of the year, The Changing Lives Gala, will be taking place on May 23, and we’re excited to announce that this year’s guests of honor—and recipients of our agency’s Changing Lives Award—will be Michael and Kitty Dukakis.
As part of the Foundation’s new Expanding Access to Behavioral Health Urgent Care grant program, Bay Cove will receive funding to help expand access to behavioral health urgent care for adults served by our existing emergency services on Cape Cod.
Once again, our agency will field a team of runners in the world-famous Boston Marathon—all of whom will be running to support our services and raise awareness of our vital, life-changing work.
On December 13, our Early Intervention program in Dorchester was turned into a veritable Santa’s Workshop, courtesy of longtime Bay Cove supporters the “Fifty Families.”
For those we serve at Bay Cove who are homeless or are simply living below the poverty level, the winter months are the most difficult and dangerous to negotiate. This winter, you can help us keep those we serve warm and safe!
On October 20, Bay Cove hosted its first-ever Fall Festival at Ned Devine’s Irish Pub, and a great time was had by all who attended this tremendously fun afternoon.
This spring, MassHealth (health insurer for the vast majority of the individuals served by Bay Cove) implemented a long-planned conversion to a Managed Care system for the approximately one million Medicaid recipients in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The Marriott Courtyard Cambridge played host to nearly 200 CASPAR supporters on April 12, as the agency welcomed old friends and new to our 2018 "Strengthening Our Community" event.
