Bay Cove's BIG NIGHT! Was A Big Success!

More than 200 members of the Bay Cove Community came together on June 1 for Bay Cove’s Big Night!, a celebration of the important work our agency does each day and the remarkable individuals we’re privileged to serve. This major fundraiser for our agency was a truly special evening, and we were able to raise close to $225,000 to benefit our continuum of vital programs for people living with the challenges of mental illness, developmental disabilities, substance use disorder and/or homelessness.

Taking place at one of Boston’s newest and most impressive nightlife venues, Big Night Live! at The Hub on Causeway, the event was hosted by Boston broadcasting legend Susan Wornick, and featured entertainment by vocalists Mara Bonde and Sandra Piques Eddy, accompanied by pianist Brian Moll. Susan led a spirited live auction, and guests were also able to bid on a variety of unique silent auction items.

The centerpiece of the evening was the presentation of the 2022 Changing Lives Award to our President & CEO Bill Sprague, who is retiring after 30 years of dedicated service to Bay Cove. At the event, Bill was saluted by those who know him best, and was the recipient of a tremendous outpouring of affection and admiration from family, friends and colleagues (both within Bay Cove and from throughout the Massachusetts human services industry) who made it out to his “Big Night.”

We are profoundly grateful to all those who made Bay Cove’s Big Night! such a resounding success, including all our wonderful event sponsors, our hard-working volunteers and guest speakers, and all the dedicated friends of Bay Cove who came out and gave generously to support the critically important work that we do each day for the most vulnerable members of our community. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
